The addition of a signature to WooCommerce invoices enhances their authenticity, professionalism, and legal validity, especially for those firms requiring signed approvals or verifications. It aids in building customer confidence and complies with specific industry regulations. Using WebToffee’s WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, and Credit Notes plugin, store owners can include signatures on WooCommerce invoices. The plugin allows adding a digital signature or allows you to add a manual signature.
Adding a signature to invoices
Follow the below steps to add a signature to WooCommerce invoices:
- Navigate to Invoice/Packing > Invoice > Advanced from the WordPress dashboard.
- Under the Advanced tab, head to the Upload signature option.
- Upload a signature image that you wish to have on invoices. Try to upload an image of the recommended size (150x50px).

- Now, head to the Invoice Customize tab (Invoice/Packing > Invoice > Customize).
- Within the Editor pane of the active invoice template, enable the Signature element.
