WebToffee’s WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, and Credit Notes plugin is your ultimate solution for all your WooCommerce invoice, packing slip, and credit note needs. Generally, invoices and other documents contain currency symbols alongside price. Using currency codes reduces errors that occur due to similar currency symbols. The plugin allows store owners to display currency codes alongside prices instead of currency symbols in invoices and other documents. Let’s check this out in this article.
Displaying currency codes in WooCommerce invoices
Below are the steps for the same:
Step 1: Head to the Advanced Settings
- Navigate to Invoice/Packing > General Settings > Advanced from the WordPress dashboard.
Step 2: Enable the Display currency code option
- Under the Advanced tab, head to the Display currency code option and enable it.
Step 3: Save the Settings
- Click on Update Settings to save the changes.
The images below show WooCommerce invoices, with one highlighting the currency symbol and the other highlighting the currency code.

Hi,
I’m currently using the free version but after the latest update the pdf invoices show the store currency and not the currency used in the order. This hasn’t happened before. Is there a fix for this.
Thanks
Rob

Hello Rob,
Thank you for reaching out!
Our plugin is designed to display the currency set in the WooCommerce currency settings. It pulls the currency directly from the WooCommerce order edit page and reflects it in the PDF invoices. Please ensure that no multi-currency plugins are in use on your site, as they might affect this functionality. If the issue persists, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer support team for further assistance.
