How to Show Personalized Product Recommendations Within a Price Range

The WebToffee WooCommerce Product Recommendations plugin allows you to trigger suggestion widgets based on the price of the product currently being viewed by a customer. To enable this, navigate to WooCommerce > Product Recommendations > Create New Recommendation and select the ‘Custom Recommendation’ template. Within the ‘Display conditions’ section, you can set the widget to only appear for products that are ‘Greater than,’ ‘Less than,’ or within a specific price range, ensuring your upsells and cross-sells are shown only on items that fit your targeting strategy.

To begin:

• From the WordPress dashboard, navigate to WooCommerce > Product Recommendations.
• Either select an existing recommendation or choose to create a new one.

• From the recommendation edit window, configure the recommendation as needed. For detailed information on how to customize your recommendation, refer to the article, Generic Steps to Create a Custom Product Recommendation.
• Scroll down to the Display conditions section.
• Select the option Price from the drop-down.
• To display product recommendations above a specified price point, select the option greater than or equal from the second drop-down menu.
• Specify the price point in the text field as shown:

• Save changes.
• For the shown configuration, the recommendation section will only be visible for products priced at $20 or higher.

Alternatively, to display recommendations only for products below a specific price point, once the recommendation is configured as per need:

• Scroll down to the Display conditions section.
• Select the option Price from the drop-down.
• To display recommendations for products below a specified price point, select the option less than from the 2nd drop-down.
• Specify the price point in the text field as shown:

• Save changes.
• For the shown configuration, the recommendation section will only be visible for products priced at $20 or lower.

Alternatively, you can display recommendations for products within a specific price range after configuring the recommendation according to your needs:

• Scroll down to the Display conditions section.
• To display product recommendations within a price range, you need to set upper and lower limits.
  • First, select the Price option from the drop-down.
  • Set the lower limit by selecting the option “greater than or equal“ from the 2nd drop-down.
  • Specify the lower limit in the text field as shown below.
  • Add another filter by choosing the same Product price option as shown below.
  • Set the Upper limit by selecting the option ‘less than’ from the 2nd drop-down.
  • Specify the Upper limit in the text field as shown below.

• Save changes.
• In the shown configuration, the recommendation section will only be available for products priced between $20 and $30.
