Fulfillment documents often require additional, order-specific information, such as delivery instructions, package numbers, or internal notes. You can print custom order meta right on the label or note using the WooCommerce Shipping Labels, Dispatch Labels, and Delivery Notes plugin.
Before you begin
- Install and activate:
- WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes, and Shipping Labels (Free) plugin.
- WooCommerce Shipping Labels, Dispatch Labels, and Delivery Notes plugin (add-on).
Quick steps (works for all three documents)
- In the document’s General tab, scroll down to the Advanced section and find Order meta fields.
- Click Add/Edit order meta field and enter a Field Name and Meta Key.
- Click Update Settings to save.

1. Open Order meta fields
Shipping label
- Navigate to Invoice/Packing > Shipping label > General.
- Scroll down to the Advanced section and find Order meta fields.
Dispatch label
- Navigate to Invoice/Packing > Dispatch label > General.
- Scroll down to the Advanced section and find Order meta fields.
Delivery note
- Navigate to Invoice/Packing > Delivery note > General.
- Scroll down to the Advanced options section and find Order meta fields.
2. Add a new order meta field
- Click Add/Edit order meta field.
- Enter Field Name and Meta Key.
- Click Save.
3. Save Settings
- Click Update Settings to save changes.
