You can customize the email content sent to new WooCommerce users during import by using a code snippet with the WordPress Users & WooCommerce Customers Import Export plugin. The plugin sends a default registration email, which can be modified by overriding the email subject and body using a filter.
You may please replace the content in the $mail_body in the snippet with your desired one.
Make sure that you don’t delete “.$first_name.” , “.$blog_name.” , “.$user_login.” , and “.$password.” from the snippet. These are the keys that fetch the site name, username, and password to the email content.

We’re testing imports and would prefer to not have the email send automatically. I wasn’t aware that the plugin tries to notify users automatically (and hope that the thousands of email addresses imported didn’t get notified). Is there a way to turn this off until we’re ready for it?

Hi,
By default the email notification will not be sent to the users during import. Only when you enabled the “Email new users” option the email will be sent.

Hi,
Using the plugin you can customize the default WordPress email content that is sent to the user. Currently, there is no option to create more than one email template. You can only have one template at a time.

I can’t find an obvious entry on this subject, but the import seems to send or try to send a plain text welcome email by default… except it doesn’t even accept newline markers: It just sends one unbroken line of unqualified text, and doesn’t accept other customized characteristics of the email.
