How to Schedule a WooCommerce BOGO Offer

BOGO (Buy One Get One) offers are a powerful way to draw in new customers and drive sales growth in your store. If you’re considering adding BOGO deals to your WooCommerce store, the Smart Coupon for WooCommerce plugin by WebToffee is an excellent choice. It allows you to create and customize a wide range of BOGO offers and provides the flexibility to schedule a WooCommerce BOGO offer in advance, ensuring they run exactly when needed.

This article explains scheduling a BOGO offer to be active only during a selected period.

Before you begin, ensure that the Smart Coupons for WooCommerce plugin is installed and activated on your WordPress site. Once done, navigate to Smart Coupons > BOGO from your WordPress dashboard.

1. Click the “+Add new” to create a new BOGO offer.
2. Select + Custom and then Buy product X, get product X/Y.
3. Provide a Campaign title and a Description for your new offer.
4. Click on Continue.
5. Set a trigger for your BOGO offer.
6. Configure what your customer gets as a BOGO giveaway.
7. Set the offer frequency.

To schedule a BOGO offer, enable the option Schedule from the right panel of the page.

Here, you have the option to set a Start date and time and an End date and time. You can choose to set either the end date alone or both dates.

• When both dates are set, the offer remains valid within that timeframe. The shown offer is valid from 12 Aug 2024 to 30 Aug 2024.
• If only the start date is set, the offer is valid from that date and time until you manually disable it. The shown offer will become active on 14th Aug 2024 and will be active until you disable it manually.
• Setting only the end date validates the offer from the current day until the specified date and time. The offer shown will be active from the time it was created until 28 August 2024.
