Implementing an invoice system for your WooCommerce store

There are times when your clients wouldn’t be able to make the payment right after purchase. Now, as a seller, you will have to facilitate a convenient payment option for your customer. When instant payment using standard payment methods like PayPal, Stripe, etc are not an option, the only way is to employ an invoice charging system for your store.

Invoice payment takes place only when customers receive the invoice including details regarding the amount due and the date of payment of the amount. Thus your store should generate an invoice consisting of all these details. You can install PDF Invoices & Packing slip plugin for WooCommerce by Webtoffee for easily generating these invoices.

WooCommerce Invoice System

From your WordPress dashboard navigate to WooCoomerce > Settings > Checkout.

Click Cash on delivery. Enable the checkbox and change the title into Invoice payment then provide a suitable description and instructions.

Now customers will be able to make payment within the interval allowed by your store. Enabling this payment option would be best if you usually have customers with large orders and a huge bill amount.
