Import Products to Your WooCommerce Store using CSV

Last updated on April 24, 2025

Importing WooCommerce products from a CSV file is important because it provides a simple, standardized, and efficient way to manage large volumes of product data. CSV (Comma-Separated Values) files are lightweight, compatible with most spreadsheet and database tools, and easy to edit. By using CSV imports, store owners can quickly add, update, or migrate products—including details like SKUs, prices, descriptions, categories, and stock levels. This method saves time, reduces manual entry errors, and supports automation, making it ideal for both small businesses and large-scale eCommerce operations.

Product Import Export Plugin for WooCommerce helps to import the products and their related data stored in CSV/XML/Excel file format.

To begin, download, install and activate the plugin.

Steps to import

  1. From the WordPress admin panel, navigate to the menu: WebToffee Import Export (Pro).
