Set Up Link Payment Method Using the Express Payment Button

Last updated on October 15, 2024

Link autofills your customers’ payment information to create a frictionless checkout experience. Integrate Link directly into your existing Stripe Payments UIs – it’s available in Checkout with no code required and matches your customized UI in Elements.

Customers store their payment information with the Link app and reuse it across any Stripe merchants with Link enabled. When new customers come to your site, they can use the Link to pay with their saved payment details.

To use Link,

  1. Enable Link in your Stripe payment methods settings.
  2. Register your domain.
    • To do this, navigate to Settings > Payments >Payment method domains from your Stripe dashboard and add your domain. All domains, whether in production or testing, must be registered. Don’t register your domain more than once per account.

Payment methods are only available when you use a supported browser and pay in a supported currency.
