Prevent Coupons Usage for Users Placed Less than a Specific Number of Orders

In certain scenarios, store owners may wish to offer an exclusive coupon to their users, but only if the user has placed a specific number of orders or more. To set up such a coupon using the Smart Coupons for WooCommerce plugin by WebToffee, follow these provided steps:

Setting up the coupon

To set up the discount:

  1. From the WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to Smart Coupons > Add coupon.
  2. Key in a Coupon code and Description.
  3. Navigate to the Coupon data meta-box and configure the coupon as per requirement.
  4. Navigate to the Purchase history tab.
  5. From the Number of orders drop-down, select greater than or equal to .
  6. In the text field, set a threshold to provide the offer. As an example, let’s say you want to limit the usage of a coupon to users who have made a minimum of 50 orders from the store. Enter the value 50 in the text field.
  7. Set the Order status to Completed, and the coupon will only be applicable if the order status of the past 50 orders is completed.
  8. Select the Exclude already awarded customers option to limit coupon usage to once per user.

9. Publish the coupon.

Now, customers who have placed at least 50 orders from the store can avail of this coupon.
