Get Product Refund to Store Credit in WooCommerce

The WebToffee WooCommerce Gift Cards make refunding an order easy. The plugin allows registered users to credit the refunded amount to their store credit and converts the refunded amount into an equivalent gift card for guest users.

Let’s look at them in detail

When an admin refunds an order placed by a registered user, the refunded amount is credited to the corresponding user’s store credit balance.

• The admin refunds the registered customer’s order by clicking on the refund button.

• The Plugin refunds the amount to the registered user’s store credit. The store credit can be verified by navigating to Gift card > Manage user credits.

• The registered user is also notified by mail about the refund. A link to check the store credit balance is added to the email.

When a guest user refunds an order, the refunded amount is converted into an equivalent gift card for guest users. The workflow is as follows.

• The admin refunds the order placed by a guest user by clicking on the refund button.

• The plugin refunds the amount by generating an equivalent gift card and mailing it to the guest user.
• The guest user is also notified by mail about the refund. A link to check the store credit balance is added to the email.
