StoreRobo Import Export Suite is a powerful import-export app for Shopify that offers a wide range of data migration options, including customizable filters and advanced settings. To streamline the store migration process, StoreRobo has introduced a new feature that allows users to share their StoreRobo plan with another store for one month. This means users can migrate data between two stores efficiently without incurring double costs.
When migrating from a development or demo Shopify store to a main store, users often need to import and export a large amount of data, such as products, orders, customers, and more. Usually, this required purchasing StoreRobo for both stores, doubling the cost. The new plan-sharing feature eliminates this extra expense by allowing a single StoreRobo plan to be shared between two stores.
- Log in to your Shopify store.
- Navigate to the Apps section and open StoreRobo.
- Go to the app Settings > Plan sharing
- Under Shopify Domain, enter the destination store’s Shopify domain URL.
- Click Confirm plan sharing.
Now, you can use StoreRobo’s import/export features to migrate data between the development/demo store and the main store. Ensure that you apply all necessary configurations and filters for a smooth transfer.
Disable Plan Sharing
The plan sharing can be disabled from both Origin and Destination stores. To unlink from Origin store:
- Navigate to the Apps section and open StoreRobo.
- Go to the app Settings > Plan sharing
- Click Cancel plan sharing.
Important Considerations
- After sharing with a store, you cannot share it with another store for 30 days.
- The feature is intended to facilitates store migration during development, rather than for regular multi-store use.
- Users must ensure the origin store correctly enters the domain URL to avoid issues.
