StoreRobo Import Export Suite ensures that exporting your data—be it for backup, migration, or reporting—remains a straightforward process.

Simple Data Import

Once you have the application:

  1. Select an Export Template
    Choose from ready-to-go templates like Shopify CSV or Google Shopping Feed.
  2. Configure Data to Export
    • Select data to export
      Export Products, Orders, Collections, or any other supported data type.
    • Refine Export Parameters
      Select the columns you need and apply filters (Created Date, ID, Handle, Updated Date, etc.) to target the exact records you want.
    • Configure Output
      Export locally or connect to an FTP server for direct file transfers.
  3. Save & Schedule
    Preserve your settings as presets for future use, then decide whether to run the export immediately or schedule it at specific intervals.

Once done, you’ll get an email. You can now download the file from the app. Multiple data types will be combined into a convenient ZIP file.

Prepare CSV files

Getting an import just right starts with putting together a well-structured CSV. Craft your CSV to meet Shopify and StoreRobo guidelines refer to our Sample CSV Templates and detailed documentation to ensure proper formatting.

Simple Data Imports

Once you have the application and structured CSV file:

  1. Choose Your File
    Upload CSVs from your device, link a public URL, connect via FTP, or pull directly from a WooCommerce store.
    • Preview & Validate
      Confirm your CSV is intact, and select the correct delimiter with the preview option.
    • Select Data Type
      Choose what you’re importing(Products, Orders, Collections, etc.) and proceed.
  2. Apply Filters & Import Options
    Let the app map your CSV headers to Shopify fields. Any mismatches or errors will be flagged for you.
    Narrow your data further with flexible filters and decide on options like “Ignore ID” or “Update Existing Entries” to avoid duplicates.
  3. Save & Schedule
    Store this configuration as a preset and run your import now or on a recurring schedule.

You’ll be alerted by email once your data is successfully imported into Shopify.

Prepare CSV files

As with imports, ensuring your CSV structure aligns with Shopify and StoreRobo standards is crucial. Include only the data you intend to update. Check out the Sample CSV files and documentation for each data type to help you create the perfect CSV structure.

Simple Data Update

Once you have the application and structured CSV file with the required data:

  1. Choose Your CSV File
    Upload, use a public URL, or connect via FTP/WooCommerce.
    • Preview & Confirm
      Confirm your CSV is intact, and select the correct delimiter with the preview option.
    • Select Data Type
      Choose what you’re importing(Products, Orders, Collections, etc.) and proceed.
    • Automatic Mapping
      CSV columns auto-map to Shopify fields, with errors flagged in real time.
  2. Set Update Options
    Select “Update Existing Data” under import options to refresh your Shopify store’s records.
  3. Run or Schedule
    Execute immediately or arrange a scheduled update for continuous data synchronization.
