WooCommerce Shipping Label Plugin – User Guide

This article is a complete documentation of the WooCommerce Shipping Label Plugin. It helps you learn how to set up and print shipping labels from your WooCommerce store with the help of the plugin.

Overview of the Plugin

The plugin comes with the following features.

  • Generate Shipping/Address Label.
  • Option to Configure the Base Address (Shipping From).
  • Add custom Store Name and Company Logo to the label.
  • Generate Shipping Label in PDF format.
  • Option to preview label before printing.

Installation of the Plugin

You can install the plugin either from the WordPress plugin directory or as a zip downloaded from the WordPress.org website. You can learn more about the installation procedure by reading the article How to Install a Free Plugin from WordPress.

Getting Started with the Plugin

To get started with the plugin navigate to WooCommerce > Print Options from your WordPress dashboard.

Configuring Shipping Label Settings in Your WooCommerce Store

Following is a screenshot of the shipping label settings page of the plugin.

Generic Settings

In the Generic settings section you can configure all the

Company Name – Here you can add the company name that needs to be displayed on the shipping label. You can leave this field empty if you don’t wish to add a company name.

Custom Logo – Here you can upload a custom logo of your company or leave it empty.

Returns Policy, Conditions, etc. – If you wish to print return policy or any conditions to the label, you can add it here.

Custom footer – Add a footer to the shipping label or leave it empty.

Packaging type – Choose a packaging type. The basic version only supports ‘Single package per order’.

Shipping From Address

In this section, you can configure the ‘Shipping From’ address or the Senders’ Address that needs to be displayed on the label.

Sender Name – Here you can specify the name of the sender.

Sender Address Line 1 – Add senders address line 1

Sender Address Line 2 – Add senders address line 2

Sender City – Add the city of the sender

Sender Country – Country code of the sender

Sender Postal Code – Postal code of the sender

Shipping Label Settings

Shipping Label Size – Choose the print size of your shipping label. Basic version supports only ‘full page’ size.

Enable Contact Number – Here you can select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to add your contact number to the Shipping Label.

Enable Encoding – select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to enable Cyrillic encoding.

Once you are done with all the configurations click the Save Changes button.

How to Print/PDF Download Shipping Label from the WooCommerce Order Admin Page

The plugin lets you print and download the shipping label in PDF format from the WooCommerce order admin page.

The Print and Download options can be located under the ‘Actions’ tab as shown below. You can print/download the label for the corresponding order from the orders’ page.

The Print/Download option is also available under the ‘Print Actions’ in the edit page of each orders.

Below shown is the screenshot of the shipping label (preview) configured above. The print option will be visible on the label.
