Gracias

Hi Eva,
Greetings from Webtoffee!
These are cookies created by the plugin itself and each one corresponds to the user’s choice for each of the categories. They are essential for the working of the plugin and hence advised not to change category.

Hi,
does any of the cookies send information elsewhere, or is it only stored in the user’s browser?

Hi Marit,
Greetings from Webtoffee!
That would depend entirely on the cookies used. For example, if you are using Google Analytics tracking, its cookie information is definitely send to your google analytics dashboard.

If user gives consent to allow Google Analytics etc, does that overrode any adblocker that may be present on Chrome/Safari etc etc?

Hi Gary,
Thanks for reaching out!
Since adblockers or similar extension usually blocks the scripts or js directly, it is not possible to override their actions.

Is it possible to ask user again for consent after a few days?
This GDPR consent is causing problem with facebook comments on blog. If user does not accept cookies, fb comments are disabled without notice. I have to give users an option to accept again after a few days if they didn’t accept the first time.

Hi Adnan,
By default, the consent is saved for 365 days. You can use the filter here to modify the number of days.

Hi Siksha,
You have just explained how it should be setup to track GA only based on consent. So we are not sure about what the query is.

Hi:
I would like to know the type of the cookies and their duration.
I have this, but I don’t know if it is accurate:
viewed_cookie_policy (session, 1 year).
cookielawinfo-checkbox-non-necessary (user, 1 year)
cookielawinfo-checkbox-necessary (user, 1 year)
cookielawinfoconsent (user, 1 year)
Thanks!!

Hi Sira,
We are here to assist.
The duration is indeed 1 year and the cookie type would be persistent.
