Store owners can easily add product meta to the product table of WooCommerce documents using WebToffee’s Customizer for WooCommerce PDF Invoices add-on. The plugin allows adding product meta below the product name or in a separate column for better organization.
Adding product meta below the product name – WooCommerce invoices
1. Head to the Customize page
- Navigate to Invoice/Packing > Invoice(preferred document) > Customize from the WordPress dashboard.
2. Scroll down to the Product table
- Scroll down and click on the product table of the active template.
3. Add a new product meta
- Head to the Editor pane on the right.
- Click on the dropdown next to the Product column.
- Click the ‘+‘ icon next to the Meta below product name option.
- In the popup, select the meta type as Product meta.
- Fill in the Product meta key and the Product meta label.
- Click Save to add the new product meta.
4. Save Changes
- Click on Save Template to save the changes.
Adding product meta in a new column – WooCommerce invoices
1. Head to the Customize page
- Navigate to Invoice/Packing > Invoice(preferred document) > Customize from the WordPress dashboard.
2. Scroll down to the Product table
- Scroll down and click on the product table of the active template.
3. Add a new column with product meta
- Head to the editor pane on the right.
- Click the ‘+‘ icon at the top right corner.
- In the popup, select the Column type as Product meta.
- Fill in the Product meta key and the Column header.
- Click Save to add the product meta.
4. Save Changes
- Click on Save Template to save the changes.
