Searching Sequential Orders for Easy Order Management

Managing orders in a WooCommerce store can be challenging at times. With custom sequential order numbers, it is easier for store owners to find and group orders. WebToffee’s Sequential Order Number for WooCommerce plugin helps store owners add a custom sequential order number series to WooCommerce orders. These custom sequential order numbers can be searched from the Orders page of WooCommerce. Let’s check out how to search sequential orders from the Orders page. Below are the brief steps:

  1. From the plugin settings, enable the Search Orders option.
  2. Use order number as the search criteria and search for the orders.

  1. From the WordPress dashboard, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Sequential Order Number.
  2. Under the Settings section, enable the Search orders option.

  1. Click on Save changes to save the updates.
  2. Now, head to the WooCommerce Orders (WooCommerce > Orders) page.
  3. Here, go to the Search Panel at the top right corner of the Orders page.

  1. From the Search criteria dropdown, select Order Number.

  1. Type in the sequential order number to search in the Search Input field.

  1. Finally, click on Search orders to complete the search.
Initiating a search

Use Case

The store owner needs to search for all the orders in the store with the prefix ORDER. The store owner heads to the Search panel, selects Order Number as the search criteria, types in ORDER in the search input field, and initiates the search. The search results will appear as shown below:
