How to Display Order Count, Order List, and Total Weight in WooCommerce Picklists

Last updated on August 17, 2026

When a picklist covers multiple orders, warehouse staff need a quick summary of the batch before they start picking, how many orders it covers, which orders they are, and how heavy the shipment will be. Displaying the order count, order list, and total weight on the picklist helps pickers plan carts, trolleys, and packaging ahead of time, and gives them a simple way to cross-check the batch before the items move to packing.

WebToffee’s WooCommerce Picklists Plugin lets you add these details to the picklist through the template customizer. This article explains how to display the order count, order list, and total weight on WooCommerce picklists.

Prerequisites

  • Install and activate WebToffee’s WooCommerce Picklists plugin.
  • Ensure the weight is specified for your products (Products > Edit product > Product data > Shipping > Weight). The total weight on the picklist is calculated from the weight values defined in the product data; products without a weight will not contribute to the total.

Step 1: Access the picklist customizer

  1. From the WordPress dashboard, navigate to Invoice/Packing > Picklist.
  2. Go to the Customize tab.
  3. Choose an existing template to edit, or click Change layout to start from a different layout. The preview on the left renders a sample picklist using the order number entered in the Order number field on the right.

Step 2: Enable the Order Count option

In the customizer panel on the right, locate Order Count and turn on the toggle.

This displays the number of orders covered by the picklist at the top of the document (e.g., 2 orders). This is particularly useful when generating a single picklist for multiple orders in bulk.

Step 3: Enable the Order Lists option

Locate Order Lists in the customizer panel and turn on the toggle.

This displays the order numbers of all the orders included in the picklist (e.g., Orders: 1234, 4321). While the order count tells the picker how many orders are in the batch, the order list tells them exactly which orders they are making it easy to trace the picklist back to the corresponding orders in WooCommerce.

Step 4: Enable the No of Items option

Locate No of Items in the customizer panel and turn on the toggle.

This displays a No of items summary below the product table, showing the number of items on the picklist. Expand the section using the arrow to adjust its display properties, if needed.

Step 5: Enable the Total Weight option

Locate Total Weight in the customizer panel and turn on the toggle. This adds a Weight summary below the product table, showing the total weight of all the products on the picklist.

Step 6: Save the template

  • Click Save template to save the changes, or
  • Click Save and activate to save the template and set it as the active picklist template.

The picklists generated hereafter will display the order count, order list, and total weight, as shown in the sample below.
