Configure Essential Settings for WooCommerce Picklists

Last updated on May 30, 2025

The WooCommerce Picklists Plugin by WebToffee adds powerful functionalities to your order management process. Designed as an add-on to the free WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes, and Shipping Labels plugin, this tool helps you auto-generate picklists, email them to the right people, group items for easier picking, and customize layouts to suit your store’s workflow.

Prerequisites

  • Before setting up picklists, make sure to install and activate these plugins:
  • Fill in the basic store details.
    • If you’re installing both the free and pro plugins for the first time, a Setup Wizard will launch automatically when you navigate to the Invoice/Packing menu.
    • The wizard helps configure basic store details (store name, address, contact, etc.).
    • You can skip the wizard if preferred. If so, make sure to configure the basic store details manually via Invoice/Packing > General Settings > General.

Essential Settings for Picklist

This guide walks you through the minimal but crucial settings required to generate clean, usable picklists for order fulfillment.

1. Accessing the Picklist Settings

  • Navigate to Invoice/Packing > Picklist from the dashboard.

2. Enable Auto-Generation and Emailing

  • Under the General section, look for “Email picklist automatically to.”
  • Choose one or more order statuses (e.g., Processing, Completed) where picklists should be automatically created and sent as PDFs. This saves time and ensures warehouse teams receive documents as soon as orders are ready for picking.
