Exporting related products, categories, and tags from your WooCommerce store is just as straightforward as exporting regular products. You can use the default WooCommerce exporter for this. Follow these steps to efficiently export the related products, categories, and tags generated by the Related Products – Product Recommendations for WooCommerce plugin by WebToffee.
Export related products
To import your related products:
- Head to WooCommerce > All Products from the WordPress dashboard.
- Click on Export.
- If you intend to export only selected products or columns, filter the products by column type and categories. Otherwise, keep the fields blank, and all products will be exported.
- Enable Export custom meta to export all custom meta associated with the products, including meta associated with related products.
- Click Generate CSV. The file will be generated and saved to you local storage.

When I export our products from WooCommerce it gives me the upsells and cross-sells sections but not related products. Related products however always shows at the top of the product page. Therefore I cannot bulk update the products showing at the top of the product page.

WooCommerce’s default export tool does not display related products as a standard column (like Upsells or Cross-sells). However, you can include them in the CSV file by enabling the “Export custom meta” option in the product export screen.
Once enabled, the custom meta fields, including the one used by the related products plugin, will be included in the exported CSV.
Also, related products are normally displayed towards the lower section of the product page (below the main product details). If they are appearing at the top in your store, this is likely due to your theme or a custom layout configuration.
To properly analyze the display position and guide you on bulk updating the related products via CSV, we recommend contacting our support team with a few additional details.
