Related product recommendations are very commonly used in e-commerce, and WooCommerce includes this feature on every product page by default. However, a store owner may want to hide these recommendations for certain products, which is not possible with the default options available in WooCommerce.
This article provides instructions on disabling related product recommendations for specific products or categories using the Related Products – Product Recommendations for WooCommerce plugin by WebToffee.
Once the plugin is installed and activated:
- From the WordPress dashboard, navigate to WooCommerce > Related Products.
- Scroll down until you find the option, Hide related products for products.
Hide recommendations for selected products
- Under Hide related products for products, Select the products you would like to hide the related products recommendation.
- Once selected, scroll down and click on Save Changes.
Now the related products section will be hidden for the selected products.

- Under Hide related products for categories, select the categories for which you would like to hide the related products recommendation.
- Once selected, scroll down and click on Save Changes.
Now, the related products section will be hidden for the selected products.
