Adding Barcode to WooCommerce Invoices and Packing Slips

Adding barcodes to WooCommerce invoices and packing slips makes order management easier and more accurate. With barcodes, store owners and warehouse staff can quickly scan and track orders, streamlining the process. This saves time and minimizes human errors, making fulfillment smoother and more efficient. With WebToffee’s WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, and Credit Notes plugin, store owners can easily add barcodes to invoices and packing slips to represent order invoice numbers.

Adding a barcode to WooCommerce invoices and packing slips

Below are the detailed steps for adding a barcode to WooCommerce documents:

  1. Navigate to Invoice/Packing > Invoice(or packing slip) > Customize.
  2. Move to the Editor pane” on the right side of the “Customize” page.
  1. Scroll down and enable the Barcode element.
  1. Click on Update Template to save the changes.

Since the barcode represents the invoice number of an order. The barcode will appear on packing slips, delivery notes, and shipping labels only after the corresponding invoice for that order has been generated.

Scanning the barcode on the document will reveal the corresponding invoice number for the order.
