WebToffee’s GDPR Cookie Consent plugin provides cookie notification as a ‘Popup’ that distinctly asks for the user’s opt-in consent before deploying cookies. Users can opt out of cookies from the pop-up window or use ‘Preferences’ to selectively consent for each cookie category.
Steps to enable Cookie Popup on your website
Four templates are available: Classic type, Banner type, Box type, and Popup type.
- From the dashboard, click on Cookie Consent. Ensure that the Customize option is set as GDPR.
- Then click on Cookie Banner > Layout.
- In the Cookie Notice select Popup Type. The Banner will now be displayed as a popup in the top left of the screen.
- Click on Update settings to save the changes made. Subsequently, reload the website to view the changes.
