How to Export WordPress Pages Using Import Export Suite

Last updated on September 24, 2026

WordPress pages can be exported in bulk using the Import Export Suite for WooCommerce plugin. By selecting Page as the post type, choosing the required export method, applying filters, selecting and arranging the export columns, and configuring advanced options, you can export page data in CSV, XML, XLS, XLSX, or TSV format.

This guide explains how to export WordPress pages step by step using the Import Export Suite plugin.

Choose one of the following methods to continue with the export:

  • Quick export

  • Advanced export

Quick Export

  • Exports the standard fields of WordPress pages using the default column mapping.
  • Use this option when you want to export pages without configuring filters or changing the export columns.
  • Select Export to complete the export immediately.

Pre-saved template

  • Exports pages using the filters, column selections, mapping, and other configurations saved during an earlier export.
  • Select the required template from the Export template dropdown.

Note: A template appears in the dropdown only after it has been saved during a previous Advanced export.

Advanced Export

  • Takes you through the complete export process, including filtering pages, selecting and reordering columns, and configuring advanced export options.
  • The configuration can also be saved as a template for future exports.

Step 3: Filter data

Use the available filters to control which pages should be included in the export.

Each filter consists of:

  • Element – Select the page field you want to filter.
  • Condition – Choose the condition used to evaluate the selected field.
  • Value – Enter or select the value used for filtering.

For WordPress pages, the available filters include:

  • Page ID – Include or exclude pages based on their IDs.
  • Slug – Filter pages based on text contained in the page slug.
  • Status – Include pages with selected page statuses.
  • Date – Filter pages based on their publication date.

Use Add new filter to apply additional conditions. You can remove a filter using the delete icon beside it.

To reuse the current export configuration:

  1. Select Save template.
  2. Enter a Template name.
  3. Select Save.

The saved template will then be available under the Pre-saved template export method for future exports.
