Exporting WooCommerce Products to Microsoft Excel File

Last updated on March 27, 2025

Exporting WooCommerce products to an Excel file is preferred because Excel offers a user-friendly and flexible format for viewing, editing, and managing large amounts of product data. With Excel, store owners can easily sort, filter, and bulk edit product details like prices, stock levels, SKUs, and descriptions—all in one place. It also simplifies data sharing with team members or external partners and serves as a reliable backup. The structured layout of Excel makes it ideal for organizing complex product catalogs and preparing data for re-import or migration.

The Excel file can have XLS or XLSX file formats. With the Product Import Export Plugin for WooCommerce, you can easily export WooCommerce products to a Microsoft Excel file.

Steps to export the product data to an Excel file

  1. Navigate to WebToffee Import Export (Pro) > Export from your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Choose the post type as Product
