Import Data From a Custom CSV To Shopify With StoreRobo

The StoreRobo Import Export Suite app supports import/export of multiple products with images and other meta fields. Importing Shopify products using a custom CSV file in the StoreRobo Import Export Suite involves selecting the import file location, choosing the Custom CSV template, mapping the required columns, and running the import. This allows you to add products with images and meta fields to your store in bulk.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to configure and complete the custom CSV import step by step.

Step 1: Choose the Import file location

The first step is to select the location of the file to import. Four options are available:

Once the import path is selected, click on Upload/Proceed.

Under Import template, select the template as Custom CSV.

A mapping screen will appear as shown when the Import template is custom CSV. Here, you can map the columns based on:

  • General
  • Image
  • Variant
  • Inventory

For successful import, ensure the Title field is mapped.

Choose the required options and move to the next step.

Step 3: Import

Click on Import to import the products. Alternatively, to schedule the import, click on Schedule.

Upon completing the import process, the user will be notified via email.
