Product attributes give additional information about a product to the customer. Our Product Import Export Plugin for WooCommerce assists you to export local and global attributes of products to a CSV file. The plugin exports the attributes in separate columns in CSV file.
Let us understand this procedure with the help of an example. Suppose, you have two products in your WooCommerce store.
- Variable product: Men’s Cotton T-Shirt
- Simple product: Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos

Hello there,
When exporting product attributes, global attributes contain values like 6|1|0 in the attribute_data: column
What does these values mean?
Can I leave this field blank and just fill attribute: column?
I want to bulk update product attributes
Looking forward to your reply

Hello Henrik,
Thanks for reaching out. The global attribute contains the metadata about the attribute.
Display order | Visible or not | Used for variation.
This type of values can be observed in variable products. Kindly go through this article to know more about the metadata.
This field when left blank may affect the variable product.
